Short Bio:
Dr. Cutsuridis received his B.S. and M.S. in physics, his M.A. in Cognitive and Neural Systems from Boston University and his Ph.D in Computational Neuroscience from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications at University of Athens. From 2006 till 2009 he worked as a research fellow in the Department of Computing Science and Mathematics at University of Stirling (U.K.) in a EPSRC funded project entitled "Dynamical information processing in a neuronal microcircuit".
From 2009 till now he works as an Assistant Professor (research) in the Center of Memory and Brain at Boston University.
His research interests are the computational neurosciences, cognitive computing, mathematical and computational analysis of biochemical systems and computer vision. Dr. Cutsuridis has published more than 40 publications in journals, conferences proceedings and abstracts and book chapters. He has also published three books.
