Short Bio:
Elias Koutsoupias was born in Karditsa, Greece in 1963. He got his undergraduate degree from the National Technical University of Athens, and his PhD in Computer Science from the University of California in San Diego (UCSD), in 1994. From 1994 until 2002 he was assistant and associate professor at the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and he is currently Professor at the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, University of Athens. His research interests focus on Algorithmic Game Theory, Economics of the Internet, on-line Algorithms and Decision Making, Analysis and Design of Algorithms and Computational Complexity.
