Short Bio:

Katerina Styllou graduated in 2007 from the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Athens specializing on "Communications and Signal Processing", completing her dissertation entitled "Development and implementation of firewall security policies" under the supervision of Professor L. Merakos.
In 2011 she received her master's degree in Bioinformatics from the postgraduate program "Information Technologies in Medicine and Biology".
Ms. Styllou is working since 2011 as a Software Applications Engineer at Cyta Hellas, while she has worked as a Software Engineer at the Department of Information Systems of the National Documentation Centre / NHRF.
She has an extensive experience in developing web and computer applications with the use of Java, Oracle, Servlet Programming, Javascript, XML / HTML etc.
Her research interests focus on mobile communication systems, as well as in bioinformatics and computer applications in Neuroscience.
